The major product development of 1998 was the addition of prime painted steel doors and frames to Daybar's full line of steel doors and frames.
As a part of the research and development that went into these products, Daybar conducted a battery of endurance tests in accordance with ANSI A250.10 as required by the most recent version of SDI 100. Daybar prime painted steel doors and frames were laboratory tested to severe weather and usage conditions to verify the physical performance and rust inhibiting qualities of the product.
